Yes. This is why I use Turn It In for my students. I see so many shenanigans on Medium with plagiarism. Example: "those tips on writing may not come from the Medium writer, but just a famous writer." For every sentence used as paraphrase or quote, should contain parenthetcial citation. Where does this info or fact come from, right? Cheers!
