Manfred Mann’s “54321,” was its opening theme tune, and then that might be followed up with the Rolling Stones complaining that they couldn’t get no satisfaction; while the Who smashed their guitars during “My Generation;” the Beatles sang, oh so many songs; the Animals performed “The House of the Rising Sun;” and the Kinks growled “You Really Got Me.”
