This English prof here loves your insightful and widely accurate reading. I’ve taught this, but The Grapes of Wrath much more frequent. Bring sanitized for the palettes of Americans is so on target. We talk here in the states if sexism and racism, but classism is persona non grata. All need a seat at the table. The film does indeed do a mighty disservice to this fine novella. Cheers!
