On a flight to London, my 19 year old daughter on her way as an au pair in Barcelona was asked to move seats because a male of a certain religious persuasion could not sit next to a female. My daughter wrote an essay about this horrible experience. Can you imagine this working with "I can't sit next to a Christian, a Muslim? A Black man?" I would have remained seated, told him to find a new religion, and kept my fist in my pocket, but wanting very much to use it.
