It’s funny. The writer Thoreau in 1850 was criticized for being mostly a vegetarian. A farmer said you needed to eat meat for protein, to build muscle. Thoreau pointed to the farmer’s strong oxen pulling the plow. The ox just ate grass and oats, and guess who won that argument! Good piece!
