I just read where the husbands and lovers of Woolf, Mansfield, and George Eliot would leaf through mail and newspapers to keep negative reviews from them. I tried the same thing with my wife’s fashion show. Critic didn’t know anything. I really hate critics, even though I’m one, at times, with literature. Can you imagine trying to make sense then of Modernists with a male Victorian mindset? Great story, man!
