I have 25 bird houses and five feeders, I use mostly sunflower seeds as its the most economical, but I also get thistle for my finches and the state bird here -the goldfinch. I also use suet feeders, plenty of activity - and plenty in the garden for the birds to eat when I’m not there. No feeders when I’m in the mountains, as bears are all over. Good fertilizer too snd great to seed disbursement. I have the more expensive but smaller anti squirrel ones. It works. But chipmunks are smarter, lol, lighter,
