I feel fortunate to have an excellent therapist and a doctor to help this extrovert weather this crisis. Writing has been great therapy. It always has been, but I wasn't writing until the therapy and the anxiety and depression medication. Now I'm writing 5K+ words a day and getting published and interacting with readers and writers from around the world. Mental illness needs to be addressed so much more un the US. The demand is greater than the supply, and there's this terrible stigma about mental health. The brain is an organ like the liver and the heart, right? Thanks for great essay.
