As a teacher for twenty three years, I was submerged with tears and pathos with this essay. All it takes is one teacher. One adult who cares. Shines a light. It’s an Evil what has been happening to education these days. So many great teachers have left. Now I’m counting on two more years in a profession that I have loved and still love, most days. Teachers leave not based on students, but so much other crap. Thank you! “I’m here for you!” We’re all lucky if every one had such a teacher. I had a few who saved me. Cheers!
