Again, it depends on the type of writing. A narrative essay, no. A travel essay. Ah, no. Satire. def not. In fact, I would satirize that immediately. Fiction. I'd hit the author with a ton of bricks, or negative claps. Poetry. God no! No one writes a poem to be analyzed. But informative pieces, it may help to wrap things up. Or an augmentative essay or speech, where you go back to several points, to re-emphasize. That has precedence in classical Greek oration.
